Tournament Rules

Tournament Rules

1 - Eligibility

  •  Players must be 18+ at time of tournament.
     

2 - Sportsmanship

 

  • Respect toward opponents, officials, and spectators is mandatory.
  • Harassment, hate speech, or toxic behavior = penalties, disqualification, or ban.
     

3 - Cheating & Exploits

 

  • No hacks, aim-bots, third-party software, or terrain exploits.
  • No use of game bugs or glitches.
  • Offenders may face suspension or permanent ban.
     

4 - Conduct in Chat

  • Global chat must remain clean.
  • Friendly chirping allowed, but abuse = team warning → kick → review/suspension.
     

5 - Equipment Responsibility

  •  Players are responsible for their own PC/console, peripherals, and stable internet.
  • TWL is not responsible for any disconnects, or other technical issues.
     

6 - Teams & Rosters

  •  Rosters must meet tournament size (5v5, 8v8, 12v12, etc.).
  • Each team may list at least 2 substitutes on roster.
  • Substitutes may be swapped between rounds (not mid-match unless approved).

7 - Match Procedures

  •  Matches are Best of 3 series.
  • If tied 1–1, home team (randomly assigned) chooses side of the map in the final round.
  • Admin/host creates lobbies with official settings, if an admin is available.
  • Teams must be ready within 15 minutes designated start time or forfeit.
  • Results must be reported with screenshot/video proof.
  • Disputes must be filed within 30 minutes of match end (admins have final say).

8 - Game Settings

  •  Mode: Conquest (standard ticket system).
  • Friendly Fire: ON
  • Killcam: OFF
  • 3D Spotting: OFF (teamwork emphasis)
  • Squad Spawn: ON
  • Vehicles: ON
  • Weather Effects: Default

All settings will be reviewed and may change without notice.
 

9 - Team & Map Rules

  • Team size: 8v8, 12v12, or 16v16 (tournament defined).
  • Faction swap required between rounds.
  • Maps selected from the approved pool; vetoes may apply.
     

10 - Match Structure & Victory Conditions

  •  Matches = Best of 3 maps.
  • Teams swap sides/factions after each round.
  • Victory: Team that bleeds opponent tickets first, or highest remaining tickets at round end.
  • If both teams run out of tickets, kills may be used as tiebreaker (or admin ruling).
     

11 - Communication & Fair Play

  •  Voice chat allowed for teams; no cross-team comms.
  • Exploit use = forfeiture and possible ban.
  • Admins may restart matches if technical issues occur within first 2 minutes.

Please review all tournament rules before your next match to ensure there have been no changes. TWL will ensure any/all changes are updated both on the website as well as on Discord. We will do our best to ensure all teams know and are in compliance with all rule changes.
